Thus not just art but various festivals are now part and parcel of life whether they are local or mega ones, they have their loyal followers that they have to keep by constantly drawing their attention and perhaps even the more infamous ones can look to festivals like the Rio Carnival in Brazil or the Oktoberfest in Germany to be as successful as them just like how the Singapore Arts Festival has found success in its own way.
