Singapore Arts Festival, three words that ring a bell in everyone’s’ minds, every year it operates over a course of four to five weeks and attracts roughly 600,000 people each year since 1977. Frankly I have no clue what or how the whole event operates in Singapore and furthermore the event’s audience is mostly locals while tourists only form about 10% of the audience. Anyone may have gone for a visual arts, dance, music or theatre performance without knowing that it was part of a major event.
I went to a play which I picked out of a few which I felt was interesting called Sin Sangre or called Without Blood. It was performed in Spanish with English subtitles that lasted 90 minutes without intermission and took place at the Drama Centre Theatre. Personally, though I cannot really understand the language that they speak but throughout the play, one is able to sense the emotions that the actors bring out in order to draw the audience into the play and imagine themselves as the characters which happened to me and at the end it was as if I had another life that was just discovered by myself.
Thankfully I enjoyed myself!!! :)))
